Lou and Christine purchased a little church in Woodend, which was in need of quite a bit of TLC. Earthquakes had caused quite significant damage, so restoration was a key part of the project. Twin Rivers assisted with the total restoration job, and advised on many occasions to make sure the character of the building wouldn't be compromised. Structural building work was needed to make the church safe and secure for its next generations. We installed a big triangular window in the gable front, the ceiling was insulated and replaced, window frames were replaced with solid timber new ones with glass in lead, a big mezzanine was built to be used as a master bedroom, and we advised on paints and colours.
