For many years, Kevan had been dreaming of renovating his home based on the Italian Baroque style. His brief was simply to make his home look "OTT", meaning "over the top". Even though Twin Rivers Interiors usually designs in a contemporary country timeless style with a soft colour palette, we loved the challenge. Kevan's heritage cottage has many classical details dating back to the beginning of the 19th century, as for many years it was a vicars home and part of a church. Kevan saw its potential and purchased it. Only the best quality products were good enough. Crystal Swarowski chandeliers and lighting, ornate classic wallpapers and luxurious eleborate silks and velvets from fabric houses based in Paris, Venice, Belgium and the UK. The wallpapers were purchased from Zoffany, Flamant, Catherine Martin and Rubelli. The silks, linens and velvets came from fabric houses like Rubelli, Pierre Frey, Mulberry, Sahco, Colefax & Fowler and Zoffany. The furniture pieces were custom designed with hand painted gold leaf details and Italian marble made by the famous company Capellini and shipped from Italy. A custom hand made carpet with intricate pattern, and curtains with hand made Swags and Tails, frame the rooms.
